Upgrade for radiation portal monitor
Upgrading legacy radiation portal monitor by replacing old scintillator panel suffering from fogging with new once. The upgrade enabled significant cost saving compared to replacement of the portal monitor
Validation of compliance with IEC standard requirements
Analysing the performance of detector systems compared to requirement defined in relevant IEC standards. The analysis was based on a combination of literature study, simulations and measurements with radioactive sources.
Radiation shield design
Designed the shielding structure for a neutron irradiation device to fulfil radiation safety requirements. The optimal design was found with the help of Monte Carlo simulations.
